Steve Harvey makes it clear why Islam prθhibits friendship between men and women

from an Islamic perspective, friendship between men and women outside of marriage is forbidden in Islam, except for people who are related by family. That is, a man and a woman who naturally cannot marry, such as a brother and sister for example. This is mainly because this type of relationship can naturally lead to romantic feelings and emotions for each other, which can lead to secret sexual desires and then adultery which is a very big sin in Islam. Allah says in the Quran: “Do not go near adultery. It is truly a shameful deed and an evil way.” (Quran 17:32).
