هابل و غيره من التيلسكوبات تقوم بالتقاط الضوء الصادر عن الاجرام و الاجسام المختلفة بتقنية معقدة نوعا ما، يقوم بعدها العلماء بتلوين و معالجة الصور لتصبح واضحة لتبين شكل اقرب ما يمكن للجسم السماوي الملتقط ضوئه... ربما ليست الصور دقيقة من ناحية الالوان لكن وجود هذه الاجسام شيئ مؤكد حسب معلومات التيلسكوب و تحليل البيانات من قبل علماء الفلك و الفيزياء
